$1,700 IN BUSTANOBY ESTATE

Andre J.B. Bustanoby, proprietor of the Cafe des Beaux Arts, who died on last Feb. 10, left an estate of $1,700, according to a petition for probate filed with his will in Surrogate's Court.

The will, drawn on Nov. 10, 1913, bequeaths Mr. Bustanoby's interest in the Cafe Regence, Inc., to a brother, Jacques Bustanoby of Hackensack, N.J. and four sons, Richard A. Bustanoby of Burbank, Calif,; Jacques H. and Raymond H. Bustanoby, both of West Norwood, N.J. and Andre O. Steven of 19 Rector Street.

Note: Andre did not die "on last Feb. 10...." He died February 10, 1916. His will must not have been probated for thirty-three years because Jacques and Raymond were living in Norwood, NJ in 1936. Lolita, Andre's surviving wife must not have been successful in finding his will (see the story under February 17, 1916).

Andre O. Steven, in the story, is the son of Lolita Steven and Andre JB. It is interesting that even though he was Andre JB's son, he is not listed as a Bustanoby but carries his mother's maiden name.
