BUSTANOBY EXCISE ARREST

Two Detectives Swear They Bought Beer on Sunday Night.

Peter Robotti, 30 years old, a waiter at Bustanoby's restaurant, 110 West Thirty-ninth Street, was arraigned in the Men's Night Court last night on a warrant signed by Chief Magistrate McAdoo, charging him with violating the excise law.

Detectives Lowenthal and Raftie made affidavit that they were in the restaurant last Sunday night from 9 o'clock until 11:45, and during that time, they bought twelve bottles of beer, which cost $3.00.

Jacques Bustanoby asked for an adjournment, which was granted by Magistrate House and examination fixed for tonight. The proprietor gave $500 cash bail for Robotti.
