18th CENTURY INN DOWNTOWN

Bustanoby Brothers to Open a New Restaurant in Thomas Street

Bustanoby brothers, who own the Cafe des Beaux Arts, in West Fortieth Street, and the Chateau des Beaux Arts, at Huntington, L.I., have purchased the old Cafe Renel, at 8 Thomas Street, and intend to fit it up in the style of the old French taverns of the eighteenth century. The guests will sit at old oaken tables, surrounded by great casks of wine, some of which, Pierre Bustanoby said yesterday, date back to 1789. When the new place has been opened, under the name of the Cabaret des Beaux Arts, with the new hotel now being erected at Forty-seventh Street and Broadway, Bustanoby brothers will have four establishments in this city under their control.
